The VortexTM Cartridge socket is permanently fixed to the autoclave, oven or tooling wall allowing the VortexTM Cartridge plug to be simply screwed in or out of the socket. The VortexTM Cartridge socket can be manufactured to suit any thread form or be welded in place.
The VortexTM design uses a course parallel thread and sealing is achieved with a triple o-ring arrangement, two side wall seals and an o-ring base seal, removing the need for thread sealant.
VortexTM Vacuum Cartridge Connectors are manufactured from high grade stainless steel, providing uniform expansion and contraction throughout the heat up and cool down cycle, removing the need for any secondary surface treatment process and providing a long working life.
VortexTM Vacuum Cartridge Connectors can be produced with any thread form are rated, as standard, up to 250°C or 482°F.
All VortexTM QRC Connectors are fully serviceable and easy to maintain. A full range of VortexTM seal kits and spare parts are available from stock.
